Dyersburg Real Estate In Lakewood Included

Yesterday I examined the Dyersburg real estate market for the first quarter of 2015 and was amazed at what I found.

The best way to measure what is going on in homes sales is by examining the absorption rate. The absorption rate is  the total number of sales divided by the total number of new listings. When the absorption rate is trending upward(way above 50%) then you know the real estate market is recovering. Notice in the graph what happened in the third month of March. The absorption rate hit 100%. That means for  every new sale there is only one new listing. That explains why I and my agents cannot find enough new listings to show our buyer clients.

Let that go on for 2-3 months and suddenly we have a sellers market and homes selling pretty quickly.

Dyersburglakewood.com Is My Domain Name For Lakewood Blog

Dyersburglakewood.com is one of my domain names pointing to this Lakewood blog/website. My other domain name is tennesseelakefrontproperties.com. I use that last domain name to attract people from out of state who are looking to move and live on a lake in Tennessee.

In case you residents in Lakewood have not noticed, there are lots of people interested in relocating to Dyersburg's Lakewood community. I have talked to 2 different families in the last 2 days who called on my sign at 40 Redwood Lane. BTW, that one is closing at the end of December.

I know I keep saying this but it is true: There has never been a better time to put your Lakewood house on the market. I have 2 or 3 different clients just waiting for the right house to hit the market in Lakewood and I am sure some of the other top Dyersburg Realtors besides myself do as well.

A couple of days ago I met yet another family(husband works at Nucore) who want to live in Dyersburg's Lakewood community. I showed them 40 Redwood Lane and they think it is a little small.
