The Lakewood house at 108 Beech Circle has sold. It sold for $175,000 and closed on Friday. There are a few houses left for sale at Dyersburg's lakewood subdivision but only one right now that I really love.

69 Oak Ridge is a 4 bedroom, 3 full & 2 half bath brick 2 story with a basement that includes parking for 2 cars.

New Lakewood Home For Sale Priced "Right"



A few days ago, I visited with the co-owner of 108 Beech Circle in Dyersburg's Lakewood Subdivision. He and his sister just inherited this home from their cousin. That owner had completely remodeled this home inside and out and built a master suite on the main level. The old master suite is upstairs and it is pretty nice also. That owner replaced all the outside windows, installed new vinyl siding, replaced the roof, and replaced all(we think)of the ac units and added an additional ac unit for the new master suite.

I did a market analysis for the owners and my value came in at $191,068.68. We discussed a strategy to get this home sold and he came up with the list price of $179,900 which is way under the value I came up with.

This home has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, master suite(with jet tub and large walk in closet), dining room, living room, 1/2 bath, nice office on main level. There is also a partial basement.

The owner also added a third car garage as well as a workshop off the garage. The large deck has been freshly pressure washed and painted.

Dyersburg Lakewood Home Wanted and I Have a New listing Coming Up

I have been working with a young family for a few months and they have definitely decided that they want to purchase a Dyersburg Lakewood home.

We looked at a beautiful brick home on Oak Ridge yesterday that I thought was perfect for them. The only negative from the wife was having to carry groceries up the stairs from the basement parking. The husband and I both loved the home. It is a brick 4 bedroom 3 bath in perfect condition.

So, now I am looking for a brick one level or 2 level with parking on first ground level with at least 3000' heated and cooled area and at least 4 bedrooms and perhaps a bonus room. If you match this description and have been considering selling your Lakewood home, this just might be your chance.

Lakewood's Newest and Most Expensive Foreclosure





Sitting on a gorgeous 4.75 acre lot is Lakewood's newest and most expensive foreclosure. This is a 5 bedroom and 3.5 baths brick home built in 1992.

The owners that lost it paid $419,900 and it is currently accessed at $421,400.

This home sits on the main lake on a peninsula and has lots of lake frontage.

Besides the main level there is a basement and an upstairs. Currently the house is listed by Randy Lankford for $248,000. It was reduced in the last couple of days from $266,000.

The owner(bank) bid in $356,254 at the foreclosure auction at the courthouse. This amount is probable the amount that is owed to them.

Dyersburg's Lakewood Waterfront Lot For Sale












Earlier in the year I advertised and sold the lot at 126 Walnut Lane Extended in Dyersburg's Lakewood Subdivision.

The previous owner had already cleared the lot and dug the basement and poured the footer. With the septic tank permit about to expire(purchased by previous owner) this current owner had the septic tank and fill lines installed.

The lot sold for $20,000 because the previous owner no longer wanted to build. I am not sure why but now the new owner has decided not to build and wants to sell this beautiful Lakewood waterfront lot(1.3 acres).

I am contacting all my contractor buddies because this is a beautiful piece of property and because it is priced for a quick sale at $25,750,it should sell pretty quickly.

We have house plans drawn up by Gregson Blueprinting that are part of the documents associated with this property.

Almost one year ago I sold a lot on Cherry circle(on other side of Lakewood) and my client just completed building his new Lakewood home. This lot is compariable with that lot except the septic tank and fill lines are already installed and that lot sold for $26,000.

Dyersburg's Lakewood New Hud Foreclosure

From time to time, there are foreclosures in Dyersburg's Lakewood community and here is a new foreclosure there.

Thank-you to all you Lakewood owners who called about or allowed my clients and I to view your home in the Lakewood community near Dyersburg,Tn. These clients finally made a decision to buy in Dyersburg instead of in Lakewood.

Of course you know which direction I was trying to steer them; Lakewood. They did have a difficult decision and there are 2 houses at Lakewood right now that they would have made offers on if the Dyersburg deal had not worked out.
